1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using JobAlly ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this Service.
2. Description of Service
JobAlly is an AI-powered career platform that provides the following features:
- Job Application Tracking: Kanban board for managing job applications
- AI Resume Doctor: Resume analysis and optimization powered by Google Gemini AI
- Cover Letter Generator: AI-powered personalized cover letters
- Voice Mock Interviews: AI-driven interview practice with real-time feedback
- Company Research: Company insights and information management
- Job Platforms Tracking: Manage multiple job search platforms in one place
- Networking Tools: Track and manage professional connections
- Learning Paths: Personalized skill development recommendations
- Salary Negotiation Tips: AI-powered negotiation guidance
3. User Accounts
When you create an account with us, you must:
- Provide accurate, complete, and current information
- Maintain the security of your password
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
Failure to maintain accurate information constitutes a breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Upload malicious code or viruses
- Scrape or copy content using automated means without permission
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Share your account credentials with others
5. AI-Generated Content
The Service uses Google Gemini AI to generate content such as resume suggestions, cover letters, and interview feedback. While we strive for accuracy:
- AI-generated content is provided "as is" without warranties
- You are responsible for reviewing and editing all AI-generated content
- We are not liable for decisions you make based on AI suggestions
- AI outputs may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies
6. Subscription and Billing
Free Plan: Limited features available at no cost.
Pro Plan: Paid subscription with full access to all features. You will be billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or 3-month bundle).
Lifetime Plan: One-time payment for permanent access to all Pro features.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
- You can cancel anytime from your account settings
- Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase
- Cancelled subscriptions remain active until the end of the billing period
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by JobAlly and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of content you upload (resumes, job applications, etc.), but grant us a license to use it to provide the Service.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party services including:
- Google Gemini: AI processing (subject to Google's terms)
- Stripe: Payment processing (subject to Stripe's terms)
- Supabase: Data storage and authentication
Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobAlly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to new terms taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
